1. 2015 Bella "The Crossing" Sonoma County - blend of Carignan 34%, Zinfandel 26%, Syrah 22%, Petit Verdot 9%, Grenache 9% grapes
Named in honor of the blend of fruit from both our Alexander Valley and Dry Creek vineyards, this textured, rich red effortlessly combines Big River’s syrah and grenache with Lily Hill’s carignan and old-vine syrah. Big River Ranch, with its deep red soils and hot summer days, produces big, complex wines. The syrah from Lily Hill was picked from a tiny section — block 19, which sits on the east-facing slope and allows for maximum drainage of the soil, providing dark, intense fruit. Winery
2. 2015 Bella Block 10 Zinfandel Russian River Valley
Perched on a hillside above the Russian River, this picturesque benchland property is home to Block 10 — 14 acres of old vine zinfandel planted in 1905. The 2014 grapes were ripe with concentrated flavors. Early morning fog typically settles over the vineyard allowing for a longer growing season whilst developing compexity in the grapes. Winery

This is a beautifully structured expression of Dry Creek Valley zinfandel with alluring aromas of ripe strawberry, blackberry, raspberry, cinnamon and baking spices.
