Great Reds from Around The WorlD!!

1. 2016 The Burn Borne of Fire Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley
This is the first year made of this wine with wonderful blackberries, rose leaves and blueberries. Wildly floral. Stems. Full body and round and fine tannins. Juicy and intense. Shows an eccentric style. A new nature and personality. Rated 96 James Suckling

2. 1985 William Hill Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve Napa Valley
Still very young, concentrated and dryingly tannic, but the ripe cherry and strawberry fruit peeks through the tight structure. Very tight and tough now, but the length of the finish and beauty of the fruit bodes well. Rates 92 Wine Spectator (WS)

3. 2013 Two Hands Sexy Beast Cabernet Sauvignon McLaren Vale Australia
Firm in texture, this savory style wraps a moderate grip of tannins around orange peel – accented black fruit and tar flavors, coming together on the focused, expressive and seductive finish. Drink now through 2020. Rated 91 WS

4. 2008 Terlato Family Galaxy Napa Valley
"Blends the best of ripe berry, crushed rock, tobacco, cedar, anise, and sage flavors. Full-bodied, yet elegant and stylish, with a tapered finish. Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon.” WS

5. 2015 Cinnabar Mercury Rising California - Blend of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Syrah, 5% Petit Verdot, 3% Petite Sirah, 2% Malbec
Concentrated and fruity, this full-flavored wine shows bright berry aromas, deep and ripe blackberry flavors and a texture that has a good little bite of tannin. Wine Enthusiast Magazine (WE)

6. 2007 Chateau Musar Cuvee Rouge Bekaa Valley Lebanon
Fresh and juicy, with a dried cherry aroma and flavors of berry, mineral and hints of iodine. Finishes with pepper and green olive notes. Made with Cinsault, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine adapts perfectly to the Mediterranean cuisine. bestbuyliquors.com

7. Bonanza California Cabernet Lot 1
A new California Cabernet Sauvignon, Bonanza is produced by Chuck Wagner, owner and winemaker of Caymus Vineyards. Medium ruby-red, this wine opens with scents of currants and dried roses, grape pomace, and freshly tilled soil. The nose is nuanced with toasty oak imparting a subtle smoked meat character. Flavors of blueberries and blackberries mix with the warmth of vanilla and toasted bread. Silky tannins and striking smoothness. Mouthwatering, lengthy finish trails off with the taste of unsweetened chocolate and cassis. wine.com

8. 2014 Vinaceus ded.reckoning Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley
Appealing aromas of cocoa, herb, cherry and barrel spice lead to full fruit flavors. Burly slightly drying tannins give it a firm squeeze. WE
