PRIVACY
Privacy
This page explains what happens to your information when you use this website. It is short because very little happens to it.
What we collect
If you fill in the contact form, we receive what you type into it: your name, your email address, and whatever you tell us about the occasion. The phone number, guest count, date and location fields are optional and are there only so the reply can be useful rather than a round of questions.
Nothing else on this site asks you for anything. There are no accounts, no newsletter, and no payments taken here.
Where it goes
Form submissions arrive by email at info@vindevin.com, and a copy is kept in a private spreadsheet so that a lost email is not a lost enquiry. Squarespace, which hosts this site, also keeps a record of submissions in its own contacts area.
That is the whole list. Your information is not sold, rented, or shared with anyone for marketing, by us or by anybody else.
The services behind the site
This site runs on Squarespace, which collects standard analytics about visits: pages viewed, roughly where in the world the visitor is, and which site sent them. That data is not tied to a name.
The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to keep out automated spam, which means Google sees that a submission happened. Our email runs on Google Workspace, so anything you send us sits in an ordinary inbox.
Cookies
Squarespace sets a small number of cookies to keep the site working and to count visits. We do not run advertising or tracking cookies of our own, and there is nothing here that follows you to other websites.
Your information is yours
Write to info@vindevin.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. There is no form for this and no waiting period beyond the time it takes to read the email.
